The Paper

The Paper is about a contest that the Genesis Society holds amongst scientist to write the 10 best papers supporting the book of Genesis of the Bible. A couple of the single contestants bring in romance.

The Paper reviews physical evidence of several of the events that occurred in the book of Genesis.

The Paper cleverly breaks up the events of Genesis such as the flood or how the earth was before the flood and why people lived longer into a short synopsis reviewing the recent scientific physical evidence that has been found to substantiate these events.

The Paper put the various events into a context that is easy to read and understand and the excitement of a contest to keep the reader engaged with the book. There is a twist at the end of the book that adds to the excitement of the contest.

The books include: Noah's Ark, 2012, Pre-Flood Cities, pyramids, and much more.

Magnetic Field Reversal Chart

“These magnetic poles affect our use of magnets: navigation, that is, applying a magnetized needle for navigational purposes, which was originated by the Chinese XE "Chinese" about A.D.1000; bird and marine migratory travel, because they are oriented by the location of the source of the magnetic field; and, most important of all, humans are protected from the harmful effects of solar winds XE "Solar winds" . This is a flow of gases coming from the sun that go past the earth at speeds of more than 310.68 miles per second. These gases include ultraviolet and X-rays responsible for heating the earth’s upper atmosphere. Further, the solar winds shake our earth's magnetic field, pumping energy into the radiation belts. This shaking causes current surges in power lines, destroying equipment and knocking out power over large areas. It can physically damage satellites and pose a threat to our astronauts[1].

“Those who believe there will be a reversal give a date of 2012. Some even give a specific date of December 21, 2012. If, and I say if, they are correct what they say will happen is worldwide destruction, starvation, and the weather turning cold. [Global cooling]

“Hopefully the people who predict this are wrong. As for the decreasing magnetic field, it is a proven fact.”

A woman stood and raised her hand. Dr. Bruce called on her. “Did you see the series on the History Channel about all the predictions of the end of the earth in 2012?”

The professor continues, “Does this mean the earth’s core is becoming hotter?”

Dr. Samuel, “Yes, it is possible and could be the reason we are seeing more volcanic activity, be it geysers, volcanoes, or earthquakes.”

A middle-aged woman raises her hand. “Do you think the core of the earth is the burning flame mentioned in Daniel? Here I will read it. This is Chapter 7, verses 10 – 11:

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
